I designed this lamp for a small kitchen dining table used by 2 - 3 people. It is a kitchen lamp which lights the table or the room.
I wanted to create a lamp which can be adjusted manually and mechanically. Therefore, as the disc has a reflecting surface it will change the light by sliding it up and down. The higher the disc the more light will fall on the table. The lower the position the more light will be reflected on the ceiling.
Furthermore, by twisting the disc the rods will spread so the light beam will also change.
"Slide, Twist, Light" is a lamp which can be manually adjusted for individual sitution.
